These Steel Galvanized Storm Panels Meet Florida Building Code for High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ) #11969 - DWG# 15-048
This HVHZ Approved.030 Galvanized Steel Panel is Thicker than ordinary grade 24 Guage steel, which is only approved for Non HVHZ zones.
All Panels are Custom Cut to your specified Length, please call 561-255-1102 if you need a specific Fractional sizing measurement or for longer than 105", we can cut them up to 18 feet if necessary.
Wait time for orders is about 2 weeks in peak season! Please call for quote for 20 panels or more.
Length is from End to End, not hole to hole.
To figure out the correct panel size for existing stud measurements, add 2-1/4" to the On Center Length of the studs; EXAMPLE: 38"OC studs = 40-1/4" length panels
Overlap panels a minumum of 3" on all sides when possible for maximum protection.
Pricing; Full size 12" vs Half size 6" ; Half size panels are not half the price of the full size, they are actually 2/3 the surface area of the full size so they are only about 1/3 less in price!!!
