Each shim is 1/8 inch thick, by 5 inches long including the breakaway handle, by 2 inches wide, with a 1/2 inch wide center open rectangle, where another shim will interlock. These are Flat Shims, not tapered.
They are molded together in stacks of 16, it looks like 8 but each will split to 1/8",.. and so if you needed a 1/4 inch shim you Breakaway 4 shims together so they don't move when you insert them into place. Then you can insert 4 from the opposite side and Interlock Them Together. Then you can Breakaway the handle and any end pieces easily too after nailing or screwing.
Perfect for Shutters, Doors, Windows, or anywhere you need a shim or 2 to make something Level or Tight.
They Do Not Rust or Rot if water leaks.
