J Clips for Accordion Shutters, for use with T handle Type Lock Accordion Shutters, these replacement J Clips fasten below the lock, holding the 2 panel ends together with a 1/4-20x3/4" Stainless Steel Thumb Screw (included). They are 4" x 2 3/4" with a pre drilled hole.
They are Mill Finish Silver, you paint them whatever color you need.
As seen in the pics, the J-Clip hooks the left panel from the Vertical Lip, even against the right panel.
The screw is usually fastened to the panel within a Jack Nut (or Riv Nut) Threaded Rivit insert (not included). Not all T-Handle Lock systems have this J-Clip or Jack Nut, and the pro tool to fasten the Jack nut to the panel is $75, please call if you want to buy the special rivit gun tool.
